Back on LVN school again.

The application dates for August are 1 April to 1 June, so I made perfect time in applying.

Even though I am Priority III right now, the way they look at the applicants is always Priority I and II first -- they pretty much get in, if the requirements are all met. And they look at Priority III by application date. The academic counselor told me that they haven't done very many interviews yet, so since I applied early, I have a good chance of being accepted.

Additionally, since I am taking Pharmacology and Anatomy & Physiology this summer, once I am in the classes in the first summer session (which will get Pharmacology and the first half of A&P) I can go to the counselors office to change my priority from III to II.

He advised that once I finish LVN school I should go on and do the transition course and go to RN school because I have a lot of ability -- given my grade-point average and ACT scores. This is something I'd been thinking about anyways, since I believe for psychiatric nursing you must be RN.

You know, I really hate when I find a blog with like...no responses in it.

Anyway! Kudos on Nursing School! My uncle is a Nurse and has loved his career his entire life.

Keep up the great work!
